#CCSEngage (ClassLink) Extension

If you are using a personal (non-CCS) device, you might run into an issue where your automatic sign-on is not working.  In order to set up automatic (Single Sig-On) you must be signed into the Chrome browser and have the ClassLink extension installed.

Sign Into Chrome

As referenced in the doc "Can I log into my own computer", logging into the Chrome browser is a little different than just logging into Google.  If you are on a Windows or OSX (Macbook, iMac, etc.),

  1. Look to the top right corner of Chrome for the user (profile) icon.
  2. Click this user icon and choose to add an account.
  3. Name the account and then use your CCS email and password to log into Chrome (sync).

Once signed into Chrome with a CCS account, the #CCSEngage (ClassLink) extension will be automatically installed.

SSO Browser Extension

Most SSO apps require a browser extension to be installed. When users click an SSO Browser Extension app (if not logged into Chrome), a prompt will appear to install the extension. Below is an example:
